Revival or a Movement

Can you feel what is happening around the world?

I have been feeling it for a while now. These new things in the spirit sometimes wake me up in the middle of the night to just look at the stars and ask God what he is doing.

You cannot click on anything right now without a church leader or a holistic teacher talking about this spiritual awakening that is happening.

“What is it?”

“What is happening?”

Or the better questions........“How do I make sure I don’t miss it”

Some are calling it a revival like a world has never seen. Some are calling it the coming of Christ. I am calling it the second greatest movement the world has ever seen.

What is the difference between revival and a movement? A revival is a temporary moment in time. It is the epoch of the presence of God (epoch is a defining moment in time). Revival has come to the earth many times and also has left. The fire that rained down on the world was gone and the ones still burning with passion are trying to start a wildfire. I don’t think this is a revival that is coming. I think there is going to be a culture shift in power on earth that is going to move the direction of our hearts back to God. This movement like the last is not temporary, it is going to be a constant force that keeps going.

When revival has broken out over the world and we partnered with what was happening hoping that no one gets in the way of it. Revival has planted seeds and grown fruit for the leader and future leaders that we need to sustain the movement. When movement comes it takes time, and not our own time, God's time. We need to prepare the table for the many that will come. Building a place to sustain discipleship and grow in truth and love.

That is how the first movement started. There was a preparation and a well-laid-out plan that God had. The right people had to partner with God and make a way to receive what was going to happen. It was not spontaneous, some people had callings on their life specifically for this movement to lay the path. That greatest movement was Jesus.

We are preparing a way for it again. We are needing the body of Christ to step into their callings to help prepare the tents and tables for the world to receive the things God has for them. We cannot do it alone, everyone has a part to play. It’s time to make a way for this movement and calling to people around the world by announcing to them that something is happening. When they encounter God after the path is laid they will never be the same again.

Are you ready for the movement?
